About This Item

Cats were held as sacred in Ancient Egypt, and were admired for their grace, agility and strength. It was widely believed that cats were the reincarnation of various gods and deities. The greatest of these gods was said to be Pasht, daughter of Isis and Osiris.

These tiles are hand made in New Hampshire. The ceramic tile, which is heat resistant, can be used as a trivet or hotplate, as well as hung for wall decor.
